After having worked for 39 years (June 1984) at different companies in the exciting world of Embedded Software I have become an independent consultant at PH-Consulting (March 2023).

As consultant I can offer services in the area of Embedded Software development (including tools and RTOS), where the focus is on Functional Safety for various domains: Automotive (ISO 26262), Industrial (IEC 61508), Railway (EN 50128 / EN 50657) and derived safety standards.

My services include reviewing safety case documents under development, such as: Safety Plan, Technical Safety Concept, Software Requirements Specification, Software Architecture/Design documents, Test specifications etc. This typically involves interactive discussions with the development team and safety manager of the project. I can also assist in (technical) due-dilligence activities, when a company acquisition is planned or pending.
